I normally never review, but I am so in love with these books! Jaymin sucked me in with her book "Trickery" and forced me to check out her other works of complete freakin art, while waiting for the next book. The Walker Saga took me a week to read in between work and sleep only because I savored every single word she wrote. These books had me laughing, crying, bursting with happiness, and even pride for imaginary characters. I hope she never stops thinking up these amazing worlds for those of us that need to escape reality for a while. Now I'm off to buy some more in support of my new favorite author!Product details

I was hooked by this series. Not only does the author build a world, she builds a whole universe. Meeting each girl and finding out their fate was such a wild ride. It started a little slow, but once I reached a couple of chapters in, I was dying to know the ending.
Love this series.i still have a few questions like what happened to abbys brother? Yea he finally came around and he wasn't the bad guy anymore but still could have added him in more. The end was a little long but it also answered some of the questions I did have. I'm a little sad that it finished , what happens to there animals? Do they get to keep them foreva or do they leave and only come back when needed. Do the other girls find their mates too? Hmm still awesome story
I absolutely could NOT stop reading this series until the end! And then I was sad that it ended! LOL! Main characters were well described and I could relate to them. Loved the strengths AND weaknesses of each and every one of them. Enjoyed that there were different worlds with different types of people and they weren't all the standard "human" type. Yet, they blended and connected. Couldn't help but feel as if I was a part of it all because I was so entranced with the series. Plot was AMAZING! Author has the most wonderful imagination! Only thing that would have been different, if I had wrote it... I think I would have cut back on the way that the characters "almost" used swear words... honestly, I would have just gone ahead and "said" them! LOL
EXCELLENT AND WELL WORTH READING! (In fact, I'll probably re-read this series for a long, long time.)
Love this series & love the author. I discovered her via unlimited and even though I had then gone on to purchased some of the books in the series. I repurchased the whole set because I know I will be reading and re-reading it. I read another review saying it could do with more romance, truth be told that was the only part of the series I skimmed through. I thought it could do with less romance and found that part a bit repetitive. So there is something for everyone.
I absolutely loved these books! All the characters are wonderful. My favorite character was Lucy but each and everyone of them were fantastic! The story line and content was wonderful! I couldn't put it down and I hate that it ended,but it ended happily ever after!!! I let the way you wrote the story with humor...I found myself giggling and outright laughing! I would have liked it if the four could have gone back to each planet and saw the improvements...I think that would have been a closure Coe the readers. I wish there wasn't the cuss words...I would like to have let my grand daughter read these books. Thank you for a wonderful time in reading.
This series was really cool overall.
However, the romance side of it, especially between Abby and Brace and Lucy and (her mate - don't want to spoil anything), was really irritating. I truly hate the new trend in YA novels that has this obsessive, exaggerated "love" in it. Every few paragraphs is about how hot, sexy, divine, strong, yummy, etc. the mate is. So frustrating. And shallow. Don't get me wrong, I love a handsome male lead as much as the next person, but it seems like sometimes that is all they have. Hot and domineering, handsome and possessive...these combinations an ideal man do not make. Not for me, anyway.
Also, question-statements are used waaaaay too often.
The story is very original, and I found the vastly different half-Walker personalities refreshing. There were squabbles, attitude problems and bad tempers - none of them were perfect.
If you are looking for a quick, easy read, and enjoy YA fantasy, give this series a try. Yes, the romance will probably make you roll your eyes, but an interesting story makes up for it.
I have to tell you now, I only gave it four stars because I'm not all that fond of romance. That said, it's listed as a romance, so I probably should've given in five.
The author created one main world and six subsidiary worlds, of which Earth is one. I read the first book . And tight as I am with a nickel, I bought all the rest in the set.
The first book is so solid, that I would've been happy reading it by itself. However, knowing that there were six more, and each about a different character, enchanted me.
The cover shows the seven main characters. Each is very different and very different planet. I have no idea where she was going to take us from one book to the next. There was one important factor, it was going to take all seven of them to save all of the worlds.
There are struggles, love and fighting, knowledge gained and dreams awakened. Seven tremendously strong women.
I really dislike telling the plot, so that is all that I will say. I hope it interests you enough to convince you to read the books.
